Leadership

Pastor Chet and his wife Julia have served together in full-time ministry for over 36 years. Chet has been the Pastor of First Baptist since 2011, following his service as Youth and Music Minister beginning in 2004.
He is committed to expository, book-by-book preaching and desires that all people develop a deep, meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church. His goals include growing God’s family through local outreach and global missions, strengthening believers in their faith, and building strong, Christ-centered families.

Julia is the wife of the Pastor and is intricately involved in nearly every area of the ministry including engagement with visitors, visitation, planning, hospitality and prayer.  Julia is tirelessly devoted to her husband and the ministry of the church.

"8 Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine, not greedy for money, 9 holding the mystery of the faith with a pure conscience. 10 But let these also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons, being found blameless. 11 Likewise, their wives must be reverent, not slanderers, temperate, faithful in all things. 12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 13 For those who have served well as deacons obtain for themselves a good standing and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus."

Faith does an excellent job taking care of our church children, she is responsible for a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children during church services and events.

Mike is responsible for the maintenance and management of the building and grounds. He provides much needed support for the building used by FBNCR to serve God.

Board of Trustees oversees the operation of our building and grounds, finances and other operational aspects of First Baptist of New Richmond

Jill is a responsible for the church's kids club. Our Kids Club Ministry is a fun, safe, and meaningful place for children from preschool (must be potty trained) through 6th grade to grow in their understanding of Jesus Christ and His love for them. Each week, kids learn about who Jesus is, what He has done for them, and how they can follow Him in their everyday lives. Through engaging Bible lessons, exciting games, creative crafts, and a delicious meal, children experience truth in a way that is both memorable and meaningful. 

Kristin is FBCNR's official record-keeper and administrative officer responsible for maintaining accurate membership records, recording minutes of business meetings, and handling correspondence for the congregation.
